Dr. Venkat Srinivasan

Dr. Venkat Srinivasan brings his rich academic background in finance and technology along with his entrepreneurial successes to lead RAGE Frameworks as its Chairman and CEO. Venkat founded Rage Frameworks, Inc., to enable the creation of intelligent, live, business process automation solutions [LiveBPA™] including semantic intelligence based products [RealTimeIntelligence™]. Rage has successfully implemented many LiveBPA™ and RealTimeIntellience™ solutions for global corporations with dramatic results.

Dr. Venkat Srinivasan is the CEO of RAGE Frameworks and a serial entrepreneur. Venkat successfully built and exited eCredit first and then Corporate Fundamentals. Venkat brings his rich academic background in finance and technology along with his entrepreneurial successes to lead RAGE Frameworks as its Founder, Chairman and CEO. The RAGE AI platform is pioneering the creation of intelligent machines in a wide range of industries and for a broad range of use cases. These intelligent machines are in use today in several global corporations.Venkat is an expert in knowledge-based systems architectures, computational linguistics and natural language processing. He has over 30 peer reviewed publications and 2 edited volumes to his credit. His research has appeared in a number of prestigious academic journals including the Journal of Finance, Management Science, Financial Management, European Journal of Operations Research, and others as well as business and news publications such as The Wall Street Journal. Venkat holds several patents related to flexible technology architectures. He is the author of a forthcoming book titled, The Intelligent Enterprise in the Era of BigData, to be published by Wiley.


Ravi Akhoury

Ravi Akhoury is presently on the Board of Putnam Mutual Funds, a $140 billion asset management company. He also serves on the Board of RAGE Frameworks, a Business Process Automation and Big Data Products and Solutions company. Ravi is also on the board of EnglishHelper, a technology solutions company that provides English language proficiency products. Ravi is a former Advisor to New York Life and the former Chairman and CEO of MacKay Shields, a multi-product investment management firm with approximately $40 billion of assets under management.

He joined MacKay Shields as a Director in 1984. He was elected President in September of 1989 and Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer in 1992. Under Mr. Akhoury’s tenure as Chairman and CEO assets under management grew from $6 billion to $40 billion organically. Prior to joining MacKay Shields, Mr. Akhoury spent four years with Fischer, Francis, Trees and Watts as a Vice President and member of their Investment Policy Committee. Mr. Akhoury graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology with a BS in Engineering and obtained an MS in Quantitative Methods from SUNY at Stony Brook. He is also a Trustee of the Rubin Museum and on the Investment Committee of The Rubin Museum. Mr. Akhoury is a on the board of American India Foundation. He has also served on the Board of Bharti Telecom, the largest telecom company in India. While on the board he was a member of the Audit and Compensation committees. Mr. Akhoury served on the Board of Thompson Press, a publishing company, a sister company of India Today magazines. While on that board he was on the Audit Committee.


Doyl Burkett

Doyl Burkett is a partner for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisor's growth private equity activities. He manages day-to-day operations, leads new investments and works actively with the portfolio companies. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, Doyl was a senior investment professional at Aurora Capital Group, a Los Angeles-based middle market private equity firm. Prior to that, he worked with both the private equity and mergers and acquisitions advisory groups of The Beacon Group.

While at Aurora Capital Group and The Beacon Group, Doyl oversaw several investments within the healthcare and business services segments. Doyl graduated cum laude with a B.A in Economics from Princeton University and obtained his M.B.A from the Harvard Business School.


Jane Hirsh

In 1974, Jane Hirsh founded Copley Pharmaceutical, Inc. (NASDAQ), a leader in the generic drug industry. In 2000, Copley was sold to Teva Pharmaceutical. In 2003, she co-founded and served as Chairman of Collegium Pharmaceutical. As a specialty pharmaceutical company, Jane focused Collegium on intellectual property development. Onset Therapeutics, a dermatological specialty company, was founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of Collegium and sold to Precision Dermatology in 2010.

Outside the Pharmaceutical industry, Jane was the Principal and Managing Partner of Sea Chain, LLC, which due diligenced, permitted, and entitled over 120 acres of an abandoned World War II shipyard for residential and commercial use. Jane served as principal and Managing Partner of Hingham Shipyard Marinas, a 600-slip destination marina situated on the Hingham Shipyard site until 2009.
Jane has served on a number of boards throughout her career; currently she sits on the Board of Trustees for Tufts University, the Museum of Science in Boston, and Mitra Life Science. Additionally, she is chair of the Investment Committee at Jumbo Capital Management, LLC, which is a real-estate investment firm focused on commercial properties in the Metro Boston region. She is also on the Board of Rage Frameworks, a Business Process Automation and Big data products and solutions company.
She lives in Wellesley, MA with her husband Dr. Mark Hirish.


Nishita Pawar

Nishita Pawar is a Managing Director at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, a leading independent alternative investment management firm with approximately $25 billion in assets under management. Since joining the firm in 2007, Nishita has been responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio companies, and deal execution for growth private equity transactions in the technology and technology-enabled services sectors.

Select deal experience includes investments in Andover Healthcare, Aparc Systems, ColdLight, Conservice, Convercent, FaceFirst, Four Hands, LegalZoom, Petris Technology, Rage Frameworks, Simply Static, Smarsh, and Starmount.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson, Nishita worked at Boston Avenue Capital, a value oriented activist hedge fund focused on micro-cap and small-cap public companies, where she made focused on investments in retail/apparel, medical technology, and software companies. Additionally, Nishita has held positions at LEK Consulting and the Wharton Small Business Development Center.
Ms. Pawar attended the University Of Pennsylvania where she pursued a B.S in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the School of Engineering.
